In 1995, when I was a being a child, I nearly drowned. Thankfully, the Hoff was there to rescue me. As I flailed around in the water, he came running toward me (admittedly rather slower than I thought necessary), and then dived in and pulled me out with his farm-strengthened arms. Since that day I have never forgotten the Hoff`s kindness, nor the puppy picture he signed for me and left by my hospital bedside.
